UTSA - Account Creation

*Note: The following information applies to applications for the University of Texas San Antonio only.

If this is your first time visiting the website to complete an application, you will need to create a DecisionDesk account to proceed with the application process. Should you happen to arrive at the "Sign in" page at first, in the upper right hand corner you will see something that says, "Don’t have an account? Sign up". Click on "Sign up" and that will take you to the account creation page.

To create your account you will need to enter a valid email address, and a password that contains - 

  • One uppercase letter
  • One number
  • One lowercase letter
  • One symbol

Make sure not to add a space to the end or beginning of your email address, this will cause it to register as invalid. This can be easy to do when copying and pasting an email address. 

Once you have entered your email address and password, click "Create my account". You should receive a confirmation message reading "Account registered". You will also be sent an confirmation message to the email account that you entered containing a link that you will need to use the activate your DecisionDesk account. If you do not see this message in your email inbox, please try checking your spam or junk mail folder. The email message will be coming from the address "no-reply@decisiondesk.com". Once you receive the confirmation email, simply click on the link that says "CONFIRM EMAIL ADDRESS", and the application will open in a new tab in your web browser.
